Hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday.  There seems to be a lot of new and important Rockport paintings on the market.  The Hibbard show was very successful with many Hibbards sold!  It just shows the strength of the Rockport art market.

We are always adding re-discovered works of art to our inventory!

As we drive around looking at the New England landscape we are reminded of how lucky we are to live in this area.  Many great artists settled or traveled to Cape Ann to capture the beauty.  As the weekend approaches we will be out and about enjoying the landscape and all the autumn colors!  Hope you do too!

A great A. T.  Hibbard Show at the Rockport Art Association!  Anyone that is interested in one of Americas finest artist should see this show in person.  The collection of paintings are by far some of his finest work.

There are several snow subjects that show Hibbard's master work of color!

This weekend we will be attending the Aldro T. Hibbard Retrospective at the Rockport Art Association , Rockport MA.  Many of his paintings will be on display some for the first time.  The show runs from October 6th - 11th.  Most of Hibbard's winter painting are from his beloved Vermont.  His winter paintings are our favorites!  Enjoy the show!

Recently rediscovered painting by Elizabeth Wentworth Roberts of Concord Women Sewing for Belgium Refugees 1915 Painted in Vestry of Concord (Mass.) Unitarian Church!
